I think that the filmmaker made this film to show that downloading music for free is illegal or bad. It is illegal because people copy the song then put it on the internet for free downloads. This makes the artist lose his or her money from people getting the song for free. If I was an artist i would be not very happy. Its not very fair to the artists when they dont make their money from their music. I think that copyright is a good thing because people cant just copy peoples music and say its theirs. I think that these sites like myspace has changed the chances of being successful because they can just record their music on their own. I think that the penalties for copyright infringement makes sense because some of the people know how to download music illegally and not have to pay or buy the cd. I think the law is fair on copyright because people work hard on making their music to be successful.
